Will the spindles off of a 63 v8 mercury meteor work on my comet
Re: 63 comet 5 lug conversion
I don’t think so.
The Meteor was a model that was in production for two years, (1962-63) it was based on the Ford Fairlane but it had totally unique front suspension. It had the “normal” mid size Ford style upper control arm with the coil spring mounted high on the upper control arm but it had an “A” arm lower control arm with another smaller coil spring mounted on the front of the lower arm. I never knew why Ford did this but I do know it was only used on the Meteor.

Wow!
66 Cyclone GT; 245/60R15's on 15x8's and 215/70R15's on 15x7 Magnum's.
There's nothing like the sound of a pushrod V8 singing at the top of her lung's.
