Good work, man! :D
Cool to see a '63 1/2 build thread on here.

Who sourced your floor pans and how was the fit? I'm going to have to redo mine if they get too bad.
Thanks!

Thanks!

Lets see the Toe Boards came from Auto Krafters and they were a pretty good fit. Had to bend them over a little on that center hump.

The main floor pans came from SEmichiganautomotive on Etsy. They were a really good fit.

Got the paint stripped off the rear wheel wells and found this little bit of magic. I think I can recreate those curves and the lip outta sheet metal rather than trying to find rear quarter panels. So far I haven't been able to find any. Those strips of metal are pop riveted in there.

Thanks JC!
Yep, it would be better to buy an old hood or trunk lid from a junkyard to cut and shape patches. JMO
I would be highly tempted to throw a mild cam in the 260 while it was on a stand.

Think it's Bruce, IIRC. I just picked up an original copy of Ak Miller's Cobra kit brochure for 260 a couple months ago.
Finding pistons for HiPo cam is unobtanium @ the moment.

Cool car! Missed the build till today.
Noticed the steering wheel, looks alot like a 64
Cyclone Swheel.

It had some modern steering wheel when I got it. I think that steering wheel came out of a ranchero and I found that comet emblem in the center I think in a station wagon and attached it to the center of that wheel.

Working one the dings in the body now. Trying to learn how to use body filler. All I seem to do is spread it on and sand it off.

I got the engine bay and floor pained. I used ALK 200. I put a few coats of 2k high build primer (Shopline JP202) on the engine bay just to smooth out some of the scratches and stuff. I am pretty pleased with it.

Looking good, JC! :D
What color are you going to paint the car?
I would like to paint my engine black w/ red valve covers like the original '63 if it ever comes back out.
