I maintain that if Batman wore red Underoos instead of black, this could have been the Batmobile for the TV show.
If the picture doesn't upload, this is the dumbest post ever...still might be.

Very nice S-22, or is it? Don't see the badge on front fender.
Is that the 'Franken' part? Like Custom w/ S-22 taillight panel?
Joe

Thanks everyone!
It's not an S-22. It left the factory in Carnival red, 260, 4 speed, manual steering, manual brakes.
I called it FrankenComet because it was apparently "restored" once or twice in its life by previous owners, using whatever Ford parts would do the job. When I bought it, it had a 9 inch from a Galaxie (?), disc brakes from a Granada, Torino GT wheels, top loader from somewhere, and some well done but hideous custom interior. Now it has the engine and trans from a Fox body and what I think are Thunderbird seats, so even less Comet than before. It will have 65 Mustang steering and brakes as soon as I get time to do the work.

You have a great car!
Love the fact that its been built guys with a what will work attitude instead of a pocket full of cash spent on correct "nos" stuff. It appears that you will be carrying that on!
"Frank" is a great looking car, enjoy.

I gotcha! Had to do a double take on the taillight panel. Hard to tell at that scale.
Very clean machine and scoots pretty well w/ a roller engine
