So I took off the drivers kick panel but nothing under there. There were a few wires above the kick panel that I could see in line fuses. I will have to check those.

I found that I can see and reach the base of the antenna through the wheel well. Duh!
The antenna wire is connected there but just wiggles around loose. Is it supposed to be tight?

You have to pull the headlight switch to access the fuse box. Read the manual closely and follow the proper steps.
Do not damage the bezel that screws into the switch. It is not reproduced.

Thanks Joe,
I also ordered a new relay and two new horns from Falcon Enterprises yesterday.
Hoping to take “Mrs. Pickles” out to a car show later today.
Mrs. Pickles was the name of the original owner.👍

Cool name. There's a guy on the forum (Mopar356) with a 63 1/2 S-22 named Aunt Lou. He drives it from Florida to Pigeon Forge each year for the gathering.

Wow! That’s a good haul Jim.
I’m gonna have to get used to Mrs Pickles and get some services done before I venture out too far.
I want to get some gaskets and fluids replaced so I feel more comfortable.
Slowly but surely. I wanted to get a personalized plate that read “BLASTOFF”, but it was taken. “63 COMET” was also taken. Maybe “1963MERC” ?
I love seeing this blue baby in my garage. 👍

Well, I put the new horns in today and at first they didn’t work. I had already put a new horn relay in too. I started thinking it was a fuse or a contact within the steering wheel.
I then connected a ground wire to each new horn, and sure enough they worked great. The issue was I had painted the horn brackets and bolts black while I was waiting for the new horns to arrive. The paint kept the horns from being grounded. Once I sanded some paint off of the bottom of the brackets and bolted them back down, they worked great.
Loud as h*ll !!!! I woke the wife up from her nap. Lol.

The battery hold down clamp I ordered also worked great.

I also added a plastic recovery tank too.

Slowly, but surely.
Thanks again for all the help.
