221 or 260

I have a V8 that I thought was a 260, but have been told it may be a 221. It has the oil fill timing cover as well as the timing indicator on the drivers side. However, there is a small solid harmonic balancer (pulley adapter I think ford called it). It does not have the rubber outer ring with timing marks. Any help with this would be appreciated.

I am by no means an expert but according to the Bob Manell book on small block Ford engines that pulley adapter would be found on the 221.
