Engine bay question

Does anyone know for sure if the engine bays on the 1960 comets were all painted body color? I have a supposedly all original white 60 with an all black engine bay. The few pictures I've seen so far have them body color. I'm concerned my car is not so original.

All Comets I've seen that I would have considered to be stock had a black engine compartment.
Not even a good paint job.

I'm with Sassy Fords came with a satin black undercarriage and engine bay on all models..........Al
