Master cylinder

Post by 1965comet »

I think I need a new brake master cylinder. No matter how well I’ve bled the lines, the brake pedal remains soft and sinks all the way down. I’m not loosing any brake fluid anywhere.

What master cylinder are we using these days on our Comets? I have 4 wheeek disks and have a master cylinder with both bays are the same size and I also have a booster.

Thanks all

George.

George, it's been a while!
Don't know which master for all wheel disk but wanted to say hi.
We didn't stay in Oceanside in '18 we tried the desert but not really our thing and this year we.re not traveling down.
Please say Hi to Tony and the fellow with the Ranchero and White Falcon(name is gone  )
Fred
I'd rather do it myself if it's done right or not,,,isn't that what hotrodding is all about?

Hey George!
With 4 wheel disc you might have to move up to a 80s or 90s MC from a Mustang. Those have the plastic reservoirs.

Take care
