Hey all, can someone tell me the best place to get power for electric choke? PO had it wired up but turns out no power to that source.

I would think any fused switched circuit that can handle the amperage but don't use the positive coil wire...that's what "they" say anyway.

I just looked on my 64 with a gen ,,,,started to suggest just hooking to the battery term at rear of gen,as it would be close,,,but I ain't for sure if that would be wise,,as that wire would always be hot....might be better to run a keyed on only wire from under dash out to the carb,,good luck ...

A ‘64 ignition switch has a 10-32 stud coming straight out the back, it is hot when the key is on. If you connect to it the choke will work.
