Carpeting

Post by mercuryman »

Hey all, has anyone tried carpeting from ACC? If so, how is it? Good quality? Looking for new carpeting for my 65.

I'm pretty sure that's where mine came from (it's been a few years so I'm not 100% positive). Yes, it's excellent quality. It needed to be trimmed on the sides and front a little. I had it installed by a local upholstery shop when I had some other work done.

Yep, I think they were fine, but judge for yourself.

I had a little trouble with the instructions, and honestly, I think I had a piece left over. Mine were cut and sewn which is different than molded (depending on which way you go). If you did any custom work with your floor pans, etc. you may want to go cut/sewn so you have a little room to work with it. Seems if it were one piece molded you may end up with some wrinkles, etc. but I am only guessing on that part.

All in all they look GREAT and really did a lot to bring up our "look"

Lots of guys buy ACC and I think most are satisfied from what I can tell.

Good luck.
