PSA: Firewall Grommet/Seal for Windshield Wiper Washer Hoses

Public Service Announcement:

I have found that C&G Ford's part number 21C-17265 "Firewall Speedometer Cable & Wiper Hose Grommet," which is tagged for use with 42-47 Ford Pickups, is suitable for use with the two washer hoses on my 1965 Caliente. This part is a single hard rubber grommet with two holes. I suspect it is available elsewhere as well (presumably similarly tagged).

The original grommet that I removed was a soft foam material (almost more of an insulator than a grommet - it crumbled like a cookie when removed). The above part is not an exact replica - rather it is hard rubber and definitely a traditional grommet. However all three critical diameters are exactly correct (firewall hole, small hose, large hose).

It is bit of a pain to install. I found it was easier to tackle from inside the car (however I did not have to contend with a firewall pad when I did the installation).
