65 Split Bench Adjusting (aka Scuff Plates)

Is the below part correct for the '65 split bench?

My bench has the scuff plates but does not have the adjustment screws. I see a place in my seat frame that could be used for the screws but it doesn't look exactly correct (I do not know immediately how those would attach to my seat frames)... thus my question...
