I saw this for sale on a Facebook site, it looks like it has potential although it will need some body work. The owner says it is original but I question the interior, the door panels are not ‘64 Cyclone, they may be Caliente but I am not sure. I did not see any photos of the engine or undercarriage.

Decent price for a Green Dot car, IMO.

The seats, door panels and carpet all look fairly new, but the headliner is a mess along the back pillars. Strange they wouldn't have done that at the same time. Looks like its been wet, like from a leaking/missing back window. Makes me wonder what's under the carpet. Also strange that it says it's a Marauder when you click on the pictures.

Headliner looks original. That's the first place it starts rotting, exposed to sunlight. UV damage.Jims65cyclone wrote: ↑Fri Dec 10, 2021 4:46 pmThe seats, door panels and carpet all look fairly new, but the headliner is a mess along the back pillars. Bought a one owner '65 202 w/ 80K miles back in late '80s. Headliner same shape, stiff as a board where it peeled from pillars.

It must have a “bow-fabric” style headliner, the C pillar inside panel on the hard panel headliner was a hardboard piece covered with “perforated” material to match the hardboard panels under the roof. My Cyclone originally had the hardboard style, I converted it to the bow-fabric style.

Thanks for jogging my memory, Jim.
Yes, vinyl applique over hardboard, I believe. Applique shrinks and comes unglued over time, becomes very brittle and folds a bit.
May be the case w/ this car, IDK.

Thats just face book, it doesn't have a comet in it's bold header descriptions ,wont let you put what you want so people usually put it in the description that they write out. lots of them say ''it doesn't have comet ,it's like a multiple choice, & wont let you finalize it until you click on something''.Jims65cyclone wrote: ↑Fri Dec 10, 2021 4:46 pmAlso strange that it says it's a Marauder when you click on the pictures.
