Speedway sway bar kit

Post by Comatt »

Anyone on here order the 1 inch sway bar kit from speedway motors? I just got it today and looking at it the mounts actually seem to be made from hard plastic and not rubber. Is that normal? Also looking at it closely it has a grease nipple on the bottom but the grease does not seem to go anywhere other then inside the plastic mount which seems pretty useless to me. In other words No grease would be contacting the bar at all it’s all incased inside the mount. Thanks for the info Pictures to show what I’m looking at.

Looks like they're polyurethane, which is supposed to be tougher than stock rubber. The poly part looks like it has a hole in the bottom for grease to enter, and it has internal grooves to distribute it. Are you sure the hole doesn't go through? If not, you could drill it through.
