I have the complete drive train from the original emissions test mule for 2007 Roush stage 3 Mustang. When it was finished testing they had to cut up the car. Roush revmoved the drivetrain, removed all passive antitheft from the computer and sold it to me. I have the drivetrain sitting in the car but never finished wiring it up. Supercharged 4.6 3v with a 5r55S transmission.A/FX wrote: ↑Sun Mar 27, 2022 11:04 pmGreat! I can relate to your story Jim. My mom had a 51 or 52 Chevy that I learned how to drive in and when I went to take my drivers test I used my dad's 65 Ford wagon because the brakes weren't the best on the Chevy. I flunked all the parking and the guy said I shouldn't pass you but you made it by 1 pointJimsHot66 wrote: ↑Mon Mar 28, 2022 1:07 pmContinuing the hi jacking... I took my drivers test in San Francisco in my Dad's '69 Colony Park station wagon. The thing was huge! Barely fit in the lanes on the one way streets around the DMV. I had only driven it a few times (learned in the '65 el Camino) before taking the test (I passed). Wish I had photos of that car... It was green, with fake wood paneling, 429 with 2 bbl. Lot's of milestone, high school memories in that car .

My Dad always had wagons for his job and the neatest one was a 63 black one with the wood grain sides. Loved the looks of that one.

Was just checking out the undercarriage pics on the Comet wagon. Man, is that solid!
This would make an easy restoration project. Paint and a little mechanical work.

I would say the mechanical end of it would be straight forward, my concern would be the exterior faux wood grain borders and decal inserts. The interior would need to be re freshed also. Of course I tend to look at projects and want the end result to be flawless, and I really do not need another project so I will keep my bidders card in my pocket.Joe Travers wrote: ↑Tue Mar 29, 2022 12:26 amWas just checking out the undercarriage pics on the Comet wagon. The wagon did not sell, high bid of $8,100.
