Another ‘64 on BAT

Post by A/FX »

This has been listed on Bring a Trailer:

The only comment I will make about it that it sure is rough around the edges.

Looks like a members, well maybe former members car, user name Stroked I think.

There was a member here 10ish years ago, Stroked had a car very similiar to that one.
Didnt find a pic other than in his avatar.
Think he was a dealer in the Georgia area.

Looked at "Stroked" profile. And that is the same car. Thinking he(Stroked) was who sold the car at Mecum. The car was part of a collection offered at Kissimmee, think he had like 20 cars for sale there.
Looked like the car was a race car for the most part. He also had a 64 Caliente hardtop that sold.

Guessing whoever bought the car is selling it on BAT

Hedging bets on a flipper.
Locked out distributor, slicks, lettering don't make a plausible driver & race cars aren't selling.
Not a good bet, JMO.

For a sedan race car I thought that was a decent bid at $29,000 I guess the seller has bigger dreams....
1965 Mercury Cyclone former drag car, 1971 Boss 351 engine, 4 speed, ladder bars, etc. Now returned to a street car.
