Not even close. No hoods from any year of Comet interchange, each is specific to the year.

Matt, I saw your twin near Novi last weekend. In fact I flagged him down and talked to him. Same color 65 Comet convertible but with torq thrust wheels. I stopped him and said are you Matt? He said no but said he just bought the car in January. Wish I had taken a photo.
1965 Mercury Cyclone former drag car, 1971 Boss 351 engine, 4 speed, ladder bars, etc. Now returned to a street car.
