Comet hood logo

Post by Racersonly »

The “Comet” logo came off of the hood lip on my 65. It has several pins on the back. Is there some kind of clip/keeper on the backside to keep it in place? If so, can anyone tell me where I can get some? Or, is there some other way to keep it on? Inquiring minds want to know.

These emblem retainers https://www.kentuckymustang.com/barrel- ... gJo5_D_BwE get pushed into the drilled emblem holes. Once all the holes have retainers in place you’ll press the emblem into its position.
Not sure if the ones I posted above are the right size. You’ll have to measure the pins to order the right ones.
Found a vid that might help https://youtu.be/-_hU56BEO8c
