Those bare bones ramp trucks are a far cry from the shop on wheels that the teams tour with now. Makes you wonder where did they carried all the tools ad a few spare parts? And how did all the FoMoCo teams haul their trophies home after $@^-#! slapping the GM’s and MoPars??

Most of the cars were hauled on trailers behind station wagons before the ramp trucks. Perhaps an escort wagon tagged along? IDK.
It wasn't long after '66 the larger ramp trucks w/ storage were built. Those bare-boned haulers were a short transition covering maybe 3-4 years?
Yeah, Don wiped everyone's plate clean the year that photo was taken.
