dgpmerc - you mentioned that I should be careful ordering the 620 coils... to stiff for the 64? The kit I'm looing at has them as part of the suspension package with 4.5 rear leaf springs (comet type)

So I decided to go with stock new coils... at 60 bucks including shipping, it was a good deal. The 620's scared me off, as I want better curve handling and not a hard hopping 64. Switched out the rear springs for a 4 leaf rather than the 4.5 leaf originally ordered.
1 and 1/8th sway bar should do the trick along with the rest of the handling package and rebuild kit. Now comes the hard part.. TIME to put it all together.
Next on the list will be disk brakes... hope to see this happen near summer's end, but most likely next year.
