Well-built car w/ same stroker engine as last month's offering. Twelve Comets were offered on BAT this year of which nine sold.
My favorite was the turquoise '64 Cyclone that sold back in May.

There are no values published in the Hagerty Guide for 2-door V-8 sedans.
As they say down here, 'ain't no telling'.

Yeah, I checked Hagerty, too, with no luck for that model. I was surprised that they only had 6-cyl for 65 Calientes. What shocked me was that the value for a 65 Cyclone with 289 4V in FAIR condition was listed as $24,400. Good condition was $34,400 and Excellent was $52,100. Looks like they're finally getting some appreciation.

It was just a matter of time. When the Mustang market went nuts, people started picking up Cougars for cheaper prices until they became competitively priced. I always thought the same would happen w/ Falcon/Comet eventually. Falcon Sprints started getting up there, Cyclone shortly thereafter.Jims65cyclone wrote: ↑Fri Dec 16, 2022 1:14 pmWhat shocked me was that the value for a 65 Cyclone with 289 4V in FAIR condition was listed as $24,400.
