My dad has that magazine. Since I was a kid I thought that was really cool. I am surprised that it has not been cloned after all these years.
1965 Mercury Cyclone former drag car, 1971 Boss 351 engine, 4 speed, ladder bars, etc. Now returned to a street car.

Re: Super Cyclone Show Car
I admit to being a totally new Merc comet guy but 40 years in building Mopars. I have fabbed max wedge and hemi scoops based on the original specs in 20 ga.mild plate. Oem were fabbed out of aluminum ( expensive) and repops are fiberglass. The ram air hood drew me to wanting a 64 Comet decades ago and i have just acquired a project car. Excitd!!! even at my old age! Question is have any of the guys fabbed the ram hood. I understand the basic design top and bottom, in fiber glass of course. But with measurements and a pic showing the slope why an a good clone of the opening and top of hood be made?????? Definitely would not attempt any underhood duct work stuff! Anyone?
