V8 front suspension/steering parts

Post by barbee6043 »

I am in search of all the front end steering/suspension parts to convert my 64 six Comet to V8. I understand 65-6 Mustang will also work. Located S E Tx but will pay shipping .

I have been told that too! Thanks! Learning curve is sharp!! I have found a boneyard source for 65-6 V8 mustarng and maybe some falcon/comet parts but days ride away. Hoping to score spindles with hubs for drum brakes, center link. idler, and hopefully good steering box with pitman used. Do I need to change the upper/lower arms for this V8 swap? New at Rock are about $115 per side with new BJ etc. Anythng I am missing??
When I change over to my bud's 289 I assumeI need its bracket to frame for this??
What is a V8 (8 inch I guess?) rear out of a falcon or Fairlane worth? I careless if a pegleg, I am NO racer!
Thanks all for the info!!
