Fluid level
From the photos I’ve seen, 65 Comets all seem to have the same power steering pump unit. Mine doesn’t have any kind of fluid level dip stick. Is that level crucial? If so, how should I gauge it?

Sounds like the stock pump.
Should be at the bottom of the neck with the engine idling and warm.
Old Type F for stock pump.
