Windshield washer nozzles
Looking for a pair of windshield washer nozzles for my 1964 Comet. It did not come with a windshield washer, but the cowl holes are there to make nozzle installation easy - as long as they're the right ones. Thanks in advance!
OK...so she might need a little work.
Re: Windshield washer nozzles
You might look at NPD or CJ pony see if what they list, something might work.

They're both in my short favorites list. I've been to the Detroit NPD twice now. Thanks!

This is a new site for me, don't see a nozzle that looks like it would fit a Comet. Do you know for sure that a 64 Falcon nozzle is the same?

I have two for a '63, Not sure if they're the same.

Re: Windshield washer nozzles
I plan to put washers on my 65 Cyclone. Haven't done it yet, but did some looking a while back, and based on the mounting holes pre-punched in my cowl, it looked to me like nozzles for a 65 Mustang would work. I've never looked at how the nozzles mount on a 64 Comet, but may be the same.

Re: Windshield washer nozzles
Jim,
I bought a kit on eBay that includes "everything" you need to put a windshield washer on a 1965 Mustange. Description was "NEW 1965 Ford Mustang Windshield WASHER KIT Bag, Hoses, Pump, Bracket, Nozzles". The nozzles are much too short and the mounting brackets brazed onto the nozzles are on the wrong side for a '64 Comet. I guess the Mustang cowl is shorter than on a Falcon/Comet, but why put the holes on the starboard side? I made the rest of the kit work, so I kept it. But still need nozzles. Oh, and the kickswitch ass'y.

Poboyjo, are yours the same year as Comet Bruces? If so, that would be great.

When he post up pics of his you can compare them to mine if 63 is same as these 65's they almost have to fit a 64.FuzzyDriver wrote: ↑Thu Aug 24, 2023 2:41 pmPoboyjo, are yours the same year as Comet Bruces? If so, that would be great.
also I measured them, 5.5'' total with first bend from spray end @2'' & 2nd bend @ 4.5'' from spray end or 1'' from the other end.
bends are about 45° maybe a tad less.
