65 Comet parts needed East TN -

Post by bigdan »

All - I'm on the hunt for 65 parts (65 Cyclone) and figured I'd put a list on here in hopes someone has extras or could help. Shoot me a message if you can help. Parts don't have to be perfect, driver quality is fine. Thanks!

Need:
1. Hood stainless trim (including the short pieces at the headlights
2. Trunk C O M E T letters
3. Taillight housings
4. E-brake handle/ assembly
5. Gas door
6. Trim pieces between trunk lid and back glass
7. Drip rail stainless trim
8. Wheel lip and rocker stainless (not a priority, but would be interested)
9. And the white whale - Cyclone tail panel emblem

Thanks again - Dan

Dan, this is Mike . the guy you got the bumpers from. Come on over one of these days and we can go through the upstairs and you can see if there is anything you can use. I know I have the trunk letters and at least 3 good wheel arch mouldings.Plus the car had a load of extra parts inside when I got it. I will pull the deck lid letters as I am going to weld up the holes.

Dan keep in mind caliente wheel well trim is a tad shorter than cyclones because of the different lower rocker trim. I thought I saw a few tailights on a table in your pics?

Yes, I have taillights, but they're SUPER rough. If need be I'll try to make them work, but I'm hoping a decent (not pitted, cracked or bent) set turns up.

Not sure on the wheel lip trim. I don't have the rocker trim either, so I'm not sure how hard I'll dig for those.
