steering wheel

Steering wheel was on upside down when I got the car, i have tried to remove and reset it, now it is not seating all the way down. I have cleaned the splines both sides, has anyone run into this ?

Maybe a long shaft Mustang steering box? But basically I'm stumped.

Please reset the s wheel upside down for a pic, just for :lol: :lol:
