don't recall how close a 63 is to a 64,,but come Saturday night if we get to show up at the sonic cruise,and we plan on being there,you can get a vision from my 64....by the way,how close are you to getting your comet home ???......pop

My friend is restoring his neighbor's 1934 Ford pickup. He had a lot of bullet holes and rust repair plus dents to pull. It's so hot out in Arizona now I doubt he is doing much except trying to find a place to stay cool! After he gets that truck completed, then he will start on my car. I'll show you pictures of it when I see you. My guesstimate for getting my car out here is probably a year or so out. When I drive down to Cabot, do I turn right on Highway 89 to go over to Highway 5 to the Greystone Sonic?

when you take hwy 89 exit and loop around to the light ,turn left onto 89 go thru the light the ford dealership will be on your right (my favorite place in cabot), keep going straight a couple of miles til the next light hwy5 turn right go up the steep hill and at the next light turn left..YOUR THERE !! as you come down the steep hill you'll see the sonic on your left,,kinda sittin off hwy 5,,,your in Greystone..we should be there around 6 give or take a few...just pull in and park where ever....should be some cars already there,,,,lookin forward to it !! pop

changed over from my original 13 inch 5 lug tires. Using a tire size calculator, I found that the 205/60R15, yes 15's were within a 1/4 inch of the original 13 tire circumference. So no speedometer difference.

Costco can get you BF Goodrich 205/60R15's and they do fit just fine.

Here's the look on a 15x7 "styled wheel" from Scott Drake.

No Rubbing issues. You can probably go 215/60R15's with no issues.

I ws really thinking about origin al wheel size, so am guessing by what I have read that 13x4.5 5 lug is the way to go?

How far from getting car home? I discovered it in a shed two doors down from where we live (!?!). We move this month a mile away, so will pull it out of the shed then and into our garage.

It has wheels on it 5-lug 15" gm ralley wheels. Time to go back...

I highly recommend test fitting before buying anything as not all wheels are the same, even if they're the same size. Offset makes a big different.

I bought a set of 15x7 Torq Thrust II's with 205/60R15 BFG's and they don't quite fit in the rear. I've taken some measurements with them on and I don't trust that they'd fit without rubbing even if I cut the fender lip off completely. I'm currently getting quotes on the work to swap to an 8.8 and minitub so I can narrow the rear by about 1" on each side.

No big deal for me, because I was thinking of doing his and adding a locker anyway, but just an FYI to help avoid an expensive mistake.
