Is there a seal between vent widow frame and door?
Is there a seal between vent widow frame and door?
1965 Comet Hardtop. Is there a seal that goes between the vent window frame and door? I have about a 1/8" inch gap between the two. Been trying to figure this out for several days without luck. Thank you for the help.

I think I can answer this even though I have a sedan, and my memory may be faulty
I think it the same trim/seal that goes on against the window glass as well.
We will see if I am right
See Ya,
Mike

Too late to look now, in my jammies missed the post earlier. Will look tomorrow what's on mine if anything seems to me there isn't.

Morning, I was out and checked the car, no seal of weatherstriping of any kind on either window.
I don't think Ive ever had those frames out of the car either.
I placed a scraper in the slot to help offset the shadows, the gap is, maybe a 1/32 on an inch.

Thank you both for your answers. It's a big help. I spent a lot of time taking pictures when I took the car apart. Unfortunately, this is an area I didn't catch.
